FIRE EMERGENCY PLANS
LONDON FIRE RISK ASSESSMENTS will prepare a Fire Emergency Plan specific to the premises with pre-planned procedures in the event of a Fire.
Its main detail will be:
- Actions upon discovering a Fire
- Raising the Alarm of Fire
- Calling the Fire Brigade
- Evacuation of the premises especially disabled/vulnerable persons
- Required Power/Process isolation
- Place of Assembly and Roll Call procedure
- Liaison with Emergency Services
- Identification of key escape routes
- The Fire fighting provisions
- Specific responsibilities in the event of Fire
- Training required.
A Fire Emergency Plan, along with the facilities offered by a Fire Safety Management Plan
are integral parts of a Fire Risk Assessment.
