FIRE SAFETY MANAGEMENT PLANS
LONDON FIRE RISK ASSESSMENTS shall determine the nature of the activities of a premise and with regard to the size of the undertaking make appropriate arrangements for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitoring and review of the preventative and protective measures as identified by the premises Fire Risk Assessment.
We will identify Purpose Groups, classify the activities, work wise or other and determine the relevant Fire Safety Guidance for the premises, to determine allowable occupancy numbers and required, related, escape route widths and distances.
We will;
- Identify Hazards
- Identify Fire Risk Controls
- Review the adequacy of the Fire Safety Management Plan – confirm the tolerability and acceptability of the Fire Risks
- Estimate Fire Risks, using a three point classification:
- High
- Medium
- Low
- Determine the Tolerability of Fire Risks using a corresponding three point classification:
- Unacceptable
- Tolerable
- Acceptable
- Prepare The Fire Safety Management Plan to improve the Fire Risk Controls as necessary
- Ensure Fire Risk Assessment and Controls are allocated, effective and up to date
Fire Safety Management Plans will include a Fire Safety Policy for the premises, if appropriate.
The facilities offered by a Fire Safety Management Plan, along with a Fire Emergency Plan form integral parts of a Fire Risk Assessment.
A Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Emergency Plan and Fire Safety Management Plan form a complete, Fire Risk Assessment.
